In dear-indian, I touched upon an important distinction that Asia has a harmonized religion/spirituality in it's essence - not a political / propaganda dominated conflict. I believe, the true message of Sri Aurobindo - in his Independence Day Speech) when he refers to Asia, he meant

Buddhist Asia, Islamized Asia, Christianized Asia, not to mention Judaic, Sikh and Jain Asia. Even Atheist Asia.
